Why does Pagehour exist?

Most reading apps are catalogues. Pagehour is built around the reading itself: start a timer, read, stop on your page, and see your pace and finish date. It was designed from what readers of other trackers complain about in their reviews: streaks that reset, books marked finished on their own, and paywalls at every step.

Who writes the pages on this site?

Rai Ansar, who makes the app. Pages are drafted with an AI assistant from the app's own code and from the sources linked on each page. Every price, trial and feature of another app is checked on its official listing or website, and each page shows the date it was checked. Reviewer quotes are copied word for word from public App Store reviews and named by app. Nothing on this site is a paid placement.
