Pagehour is a reading tracker. It is built to work without an account, and your reading data stays on your phone.
What stays on your phone
- Stored only on your device: your books, reading sessions, page and minute counts, notes, ratings, streaks, streak freezes and goals.
- Our servers: we don't run any servers that receive your reading data.
- Deleting the app: deleting Pagehour deletes this data, unless you have exported a backup first.
- Backups and export: Profile → Export is free for everyone. Pagehour builds a CSV or JSON file on your phone and opens the iOS share sheet. The file only goes where you choose to send it.
- Goodreads import: the CSV file you pick is read on your phone. It is not uploaded anywhere.
- Barcode scanning: the camera is used only while the scanner is open, to read a book's ISBN barcode on the device. No images are stored or sent.
- Reminders: reading reminders are local notifications, scheduled on your phone. No push service is involved.

- What these services never receive: your library, sessions, notes or reading history.
- Their own policies: each service handles the data it receives under its own privacy policy: the Internet Archive, Google, Apple and RevenueCat.
What we don't do
- No account or sign-in.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers (IDFA).
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We don't sell or share personal data.
Children
Pagehour is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
- Deleting your data: remove it by deleting books in the app or deleting the app.
- Taking your data with you: export it at any time, free, from Profile → Export.
- Subscriptions: manage or cancel them in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and describe the change in the app's release notes.
